Yoga has been shown to help some children with stress, focus, concentration, letting go of frustrations, controlling anger, increasing feelings of calm, improving balance, flexibility and self esteem.
This 60 minute classes will focus on the art of relaxation, breathing and movement through yoga postures. Youth will then share (if they would like) their experience through an activity and/or dialogue as it relates stress management, mindfulness, relaxation and how to incorporate this into their daily lives.
